MASTER BEDROOM MAKEOVER
This traditional colonial bedroom began with the clean open palette of tan walls and tight woven berber rug. Three bright windows and a high, angled ceiling add a slightly contemporary feel to the space making the room seem bigger than it actually is and giving it the grandeur it deserves to be the master bedroom of the house. The bureau, chest and two bedside tables in a cherry finish as well the wingback chair are asked to be included in the new design.
After considering several different colors and styles of bedding, this blue and cream linen palate was selected and became the inspiration for the rest of the room. Silver is also a primary accent for this master bedroom giving it a subtle touch of glamour. The silver can be found in the beautiful mercury glass lamps, antique mirror, curtain rods, frames, vases and knobs. The romantic, linen, tufted headboard is the perfect compliment to the bedding and the overall new look and feel of the room.
